CARTER on TAR: Carter came from a large family, being the oldest of six children, she was always very protective of her younger siblings, and helped her loving parents take care of them all. She was also protective and motherly toward her three best friends, Skylar, Marisol and Jeanine. One night the four of them had gone out to South Beach and Jeanine tragically lost her life to the ocean. The three remaining girls took it very hard, but learned to cope. The three of them still think and talk about Jeanine all the time to this day. It's not as hard as it use to be, but Jeanine is still very much missed.
During their final year at Redfern, Carter started dating Caleb Snow, who turned out to be abusive. Carter had stayed with him for a very long time, in hopes of changing him.
When the war against Deilig started, and Skylar was kidnapped during the attack on Redfern, Carter had spent a lot of time with Caleb, and when Skylar was rescued, Carter found out that she was pregnant with Caleb's child. She stayed with Caleb up until their daughter, Emma, turned one, and finally she found the strength to leave him.
CARTER's present: About a year after Carter left Caleb, she met Wren Woods. He was a wonderful man who treated Carter like a queen, and was so good with Emma one would think that he was her actual father. The two of them fell in love very quickly, and married after only a year of being together. When Emma was three, Carter and Wren had a son together.
Carter is now a teacher of young children at a local school in Earalas, where she and Wren also live. She still sees her best friends Marisol and Skylar as much as possible, and her life is almost perfect. Unfortunately she still has to deal with Caleb, but only when it pertains to Emma. However, she's been seeing less and less of Caleb these days.
