Kris was talking mindlessly to a bartender at one of the bars he frequented, especially lately, that not many students went to due to its inconvenient location in relation to campus and off-campus housing (and the amount of professors that visited there).
"I don't know, Marcus...I can't tell if it's all in my head -- like am I just really gross? Gods, I don't know." He took another big sip of his drink, looking into the abyss that was his confusion.
He'd been thinking a lot about one of his students, and in quite inappropriate ways. He wasn't like this, he wasn't one of those creepy old guys that got off to images of younger girls. He and Mollie just had something between them, something he'd never experienced with any student -- or even clio his age -- before.
He knew it was wrong, and that he shouldn't talk about it, but when he got drunk he sort of let it all loose (in ways he definitely shouldn't). He sighed as Marcus polished some glasses and nodded to him.
"Do what feels right to you, man," Marcus suggested. Kris knew this was probably bad advice, but it felt right to him at the moment.
"Yeah..." Kris said, trailing off as he finished his drink. "Can I get another?"
"Just one more, Kristo," Marcus said, taking Kris' empty cup and filling a new one.
"Thanks," Kris mumbled, quickly getting lost in his own thoughts again.
